A SafetyCulture alternative for geolocated inspections

For facilities, loss-control and asset teams who run inspections in SafetyCulture (iAuditor), now Mitti, and need the result as mapped condition data. Mitti gives you checklists, issues and AI in every plan; Inspectial turns the photos and voice from each roof, facility or outfall into coded findings a qualified reviewer approves.

Inspectial is pre-launch: we are onboarding pilot teams, starting with culvert and drainage inspections.

The short answer

SafetyCulture (iAuditor), now Mitti, is a frontline operations and safety platform with a free tier for up to 10 seats, an AI checklist builder and AI Issue Creation. Inspectial is pre-launch and narrower: it drafts coded, evidence-linked findings for physical assets, has a reviewer approve each one and exports GIS-ready data. Pick Mitti for safety checklists; pick Inspectial when the inspection must end as condition data on a map.

Best for

SafetyCulture (Mitti)

Operations and safety teams running many checklists, audits and training programs across sites and staff.

Inspectial

Asset inspection teams who need coded condition findings, approved by a qualified person, with coordinates for GIS.

Why inspection teams switch

  • An issue is not a condition record

A roof inspection needs every defect coded by component and severity, not one issue per photo. Inspectial drafts the full set of findings for the asset.

  • Findings you can trace

Each finding points at the exact photo and location it came from, with the AI's confidence, so an auditor or engineer can check it.

  • A qualified reviewer signs off

Every AI value is marked ai, edited or verified with the reviewer and time. Nothing is official until a person approves the inspection.

  • The output is GIS data

Approved findings carry coordinates and export as GeoJSON or CSV, so facility and outfall conditions show up on your map, not in a folder of PDFs.

Questions

Is SafetyCulture the same as Mitti?

Yes. SafetyCulture, known for the iAuditor app, rebranded as Mitti on August 11, 2026. Searchers still use both names.

Does Mitti have AI for inspections?

Yes. Mitti's pricing page lists AI in every plan, with credits per seat, including AI Issue Creation, which turns a photo, prompt or voice note into an issue ready for review. Its AI tools page also lists an AI checklist builder and report summaries. Its pricing and AI pages list no defect coding against engineering standards and no GIS export (checked October 12, 2026).

How is Inspectial priced compared with Mitti?

Mitti Premium is $24 per seat per month billed annually, or $29 monthly, with a free plan for up to 10 seats. Inspectial is priced per inspected asset with a platform minimum, not per seat. Pilot pricing is on request.

Can I build my own checklists in Inspectial?

Not yet. We set up each pack template with you, with the industry's condition scale and defect list built in. A self-serve template editor is on the roadmap.

Does the AI decide the condition?

No. The AI drafts and suggests findings with a confidence score. A qualified person verifies, edits or rejects each one, and only approved inspections are official.

See what an Inspectial record looks like

Photos, voice notes and GPS become a structured, map-ready inspection record. Every finding links to its photo, and nothing is official until a person approves it.

An assessor with a clipboard records data beside a gas water heater in a school mechanical room. On the wall to the left, a red circulator pump, valves and a pipe strainer are heavily corroded, and the insulation on overhead pipe fittings is torn. A rusted boiler shell stands at the right edge, and the concrete floor is stained.
